I noticed I have a spring on my rear shock broken, what do you recommend for a set of rear shocks for my 17 pioneer 1000-5

I don’t know what rating are for the stock rears, but you could measure the inner spring diameters and the free length with the good spring off the shock and you could probably find a replacement set at Summit Racing. I’d look for a spring rate in the 300-350 lb range. If you’re already running aftermarket shocks, Summit will have replacement springs available.

I would think you could post in the classifieds here seeking rear shocks of of a P1K-5. I've got a brand-new set that came off mine but plan to reinstall should I decide to sell my machine. I think new OEs are priced around $250. Depending what you're doing with your machine, you might look towards upgrading your suspension

Maybe someone will chime in who has experience with your specific issue but I for one really recommend upgraded shocks. I learned it is worth the upgrade. I would recommend sticking with the big 3, fox, elka, and walker.
