Yeah it is, that is a peice of rod stuck between the case and gear.

On my Suzuki DR650 dual sport motorcycle, the cases are machined as a pair, you can't replace just one half.

Same with these the way i understand. About $2k, definitely going to be far above the budget i was allowing for this thing when i bought it!

Well doing the rebuild myself, i should still be several thousand ahead of buying a crate motor but also more frustrating soooo...🤷‍♂️

Didn’t know what the total parts list and cost was going to look like for you. I’m sure you’ve done the math many times though.

Yeah its all going pretty smoothly now, everyhthing looks good with every checkup, so life has its new normal now, AKA less sleep lol, but eveyone is doing phenomenal, so cant complain!
