Roll bar camera mounts

I tried mounting my GoPro to my roll bar for a ride I went on this weekend and it had a lot of shake to it. For those of you that record your rides what is the best location and mount that you have found?

We have different vehicles but maybe this will help you.

I used a light mount that I had an extra of. I went to ride yesterday and realized with my windshield off, I don't have my camera mount. It was mounted to the lower windshield.

I quickly scrounged around and found this light mount and attached it. It worked very good and I'm happy with it. I plan on leaving it. I'll soon have a video or two up on my YouTube page shooting from the new mount.

That's a great idea. How did you mount the GoPro mount to it? It's hard to tell in the pic.

That's what I did, I poured everything out and found that in the bag of crap.

I had bought one of those 40 piece sets on Amazon a while back for like $20. Really good deal.

For the life of me I can't get this mounted like you have it. It seems like it is too small for the bar. Did you do anything special to get this to work? I ordered the exact same item from Amazon, so I don't think that is the problem.

I did not use the rubber strips if that helps. Also, I think their bolts are a little short but I still got them to work.
