Second battery type

Havent seen any post for a Talon for the Type/kind and size of second battery everyone is using. Just that they put one in when I search it. So Figured Id start one so theres a gauge for others plus for myself.

What i bought is the AJK offroad holder from the club store for my Talon and it says can hold a 7x7x7 battery. Well my Odyssey second battery thats in my P1K5 if I were to but that wont fit that tray. So any of you that have this tray, of whatever Second battery u have what battery did u buy? Im going the AGM rout. 🤟

I went with a DAKA ETX30A Fits nicely on the EXE battery tray I have. Battery cables can be on top or on the side of the battery which helped out.

Thats a nice set up. I think that tray is the same size as mine i believe?
do u know that Batt Dimensions off hand?

6 3/8" x 5" x and 7" tall. I also looked and it is a AGM type battery I was 99% sure, but did verify.

Hey @Remington … didn’t see where you posted which battery you ended up with (checked your build thread too)… like you said seems like a bunch of options and not as well documented as the Pioneers were…

I made my battery tray myself, it's very similar to the AJK one but wider. I bought two of these batteries off Amazon and have one in the P1KD and in the Talon. I love them so far, especially in the Pioneer (I wish that would have been the first upgrade I did when I bought, hindsight eh?)

I bought this one. Car Ignition Switch 12V RFID Engine Start Push Button Keyless Entry Starter Kit | eBay Pretty cheap. It comes with two transponders(like a key fob). You put one near the sensor and it beeps. Then you can start it. After you kill it. It waits 15 seconds then beeps...

It is connected to the NOCO charger solution idea I stole from you ... 😄

That thicker Velcro cinch strap I have on there came in a 4 pack. I can bring one for you @ TO if you want (and if I can remember).
