I bought a used 500 Pioneer for grandkids. It makes lots of noise when it shifts especially in auto and especially down shifting. Seems like there could be slack somewhere. Sounds like metal to metal when it bangs into gear. Normal for these machines? Is this an adjustment issue?
You can adjust the clutch, that might take care of some of it change your fluids, that might take care of some of it but they tend to be a"little" noisy when shifting
Yep it’s normal as trigger said so just drive the crap out of it and it will get better with time and diff gear oil changes and throw in a clutch adjustment in there somewhere and you will be good to go
