P500 Silent Rider muffler

I contacted Silent Rider and the woman told me they didn't make one for the 520 and probably won't. I don't know why since they make one for the 500. If enough folks inquired about one for 520s maybe will make them. The woman at Silent Rider suggested their "universal" muffler. The one for the 500s look really easy to install. The 520 would need the same muffler inverted for a proper fit.

They smell bad! Make it smoke too. Was behind @trigger when he had one. I think it was the same brand? Anyway, it stunk to beat hell! I think it killed performance as well? He got rid if it

If u want quieter, buy an electric golf cart🤷🏻‍♂️

YUP, the smell was just the paint burning off but it absolutely killed what little power the P5 has, I had one on the bike for a couple mins then took it off and sent it back for a refund

When I bought my 500, it came with a silent rider, not installed. I gave it to a guy on this forum who wanted to try to fab it onto a 520, but no idea if he ever succeeded.

I have one on my Sxs and had no problems. It has quieted down my p5 to a more enjoyable level but I don't ride up and down hills and mountains. I ride in Fl. Suger sand. I think that makes a big difference. Fairly easy install.
