Attempted to make the Silver City loop, from Rabbit Creek. We found desert oasis’s, old cattleman’s cabin, old mines, and the snow line. But never made it to Silver City. We went from 2700’ to 7800’ in elevation.
Beautiful scenery out here and fun desert riding through the Owyhee’s.

This place is fun. It’s got everything from sand filled washes and petal to the metal desert roads, to rock climbing trails in the pines and ass puckering cliff riding. And my favorite part, history.

Looks like an awesome day and definitely something I want to do in the near future. A couple of years ago we went over the the Mackey mine area and that was pretty awesome to see. Something you definitely have to see too. Another cool ride that we enjoy is Boulder City up above Sun Valley. Really neat country and history too. The snow from a couple of years ago took a little toll on it but definitely cool to see.

That looks like cool country! I didn’t even realize that Mtn range was there.. used to run 95 thru Jordan Valley enroute to f***amucca or Bishop a LOT.. also made the drive from Boise up to here dozens of times..
I might have to check that out some day!
