Great day today. Went out for practice at 4pm with the RS-1 guy. He pulled onto the track a few hundred yards behind me on my second lap so I decided to play a game. Went into one or the bowl turns, pulled to the inside and stopped. Waited for him to pass me and then I took back off. I caught him in less than 1/2 a lap, passed him and then drove out of his life. Car is very fast and I have good a feeling about tomorrow.

Got the new American Racer tires grooved today and put them on the car. I'm really liking the looks of these Method wheels. This set of wheels and tires is the lightest ones I've run yet. 😎

I think I asked you about the wheels in another thread and your response was one of the reasons I bought them. I ran 14psi in the rears and 12psi in the fronts today and had zero issues with beads. The lightness compared to my beadlocks is pretty substantial.

I’ve ran them as low as 7psi on rough trails with no issues. Good luck bro. Red Bull invite is something to be proud of!

I should probably also mention that I'm running against RS-1's and YXZ's that all have built motors, with a stock Talon motor with nothing more than a PwrTune intake kit, their generic tune and an HMF exhaust. I don't even have launch control. Those guys in my class are screwed once I get a real race motor built. 🤣

The lack of HP vs the other 1000cc machines is more than made up for by eliminating the belt drive and going with a 6spd clutch style transmission. I freakin love this car!!

It's a helmet blower. Keeps the shield from fogging up when I'm racing. It's also supposed to keep dust inside the helmet to a minimum.

My fault.... ran out of talent, hooked a rut and flipped it hard. I'm not even mad, $hit happens

Still finished the race in 2wd and passed 2 cars that crashed to pick up 7th place.

Pulled the chunk of the front diff that busted off out and I'm going to start the feature and drive around in the back to keep my points gap

Pulled the chunk of the front diff out that broke off along with the driveshaft and went out for the main and ran the whole race. Finished 6th out of 8 cars. Not all that horrible for 2wd.

Easy fix, needs diff case halfs and a new driveshaft. I'll order them tomorrow and be back out here for the last round in two weeks.
