I got my snorkel in today. Trying to put it in. Do I need to pull the stock air pipe under the seat to make the connection? I'm not sure how to make this connection.

If yours is same as mine, then yeah remove that tube under seat. It'll make life alot easier on you. I removed the coils and loosened seat back to gain extra room

I did that and put the coils back. Now it starts and dies. Won't run for more than a few seconds. I'm gonna pull the coiks again to see if I missed an external ground.

Thats odd. I was kinda disappointed in the ignition system. Something that new should have coil on plugs.

As soon as I give it throttle it dies.

Thats exactly how mine looks. Will it idle on its own? Are you positive the snorkel is clear and not clogged with something?

I pulled the snorkle and tried to start it. It won't idle on its on. Could I have cooked a coil? This is just weird! I have 35 yards on it since I brought it home. Total 2.1 miles. Something ain't right. I'm gonna put it back stock and see what happens. Something ain't right.

This was a test and only a test. It was out if gas. I feel soooooooo stupid. But as I said in another post, I over analyze things. But thanks to all that tried to help this dumb azz Alaskan. Gas....who'd have thunk!

My friend, an F22 Raptor crew chief, sent me a video about out of gas. So I checked and yep. No gas. I hope they don't encounter that with the F22.

I had 7 motorcycles a year ago. I gave my son my H-D softball and my BMW R1200 GS, sold my Ultra Classic and all the rest EXCEPT for the Ural. I love that motorcycle. It was the only only one I rode.

Did you use just a section of 2" pipe and a straight coupler to extend it to the roof!
