P500 Superwinch terra 3500

I didn't even use the rocker switch... I wired mine hot with the ignition via the accessory wiring harness for the horn and then use the remote to activate the switch.. that way there is no accidental winching by kids or such.

I was thinking about just using the remote to control the winch. I have always tried not to get stuck on my atv's and I plan on doing the same with the sxs. In the unlikely event I do get stuck I will just have to hook up the remote cable.

Exactly... why have two winch controls.. one of which could be easily messed with.

Excuse the dirt but the winch is in. Still need to find the time to tidy my wiring but another job off the checklist! PS I didn't wash it since we are riding this weekend but next week this thing is getting a major bath...
