I recall three, slightly visible in the glare of a light from front and outlines are prominet from the under hood view. My better luck on cut outs was using a rocking pressure with a utility knife. The dremel tool and oscillating saw where harder to control. Some guys have used small round switches if you want to reduce the clutter.
