For some reason, I’ve got it in my head that I need a 1000. I’ve been running a 500 for a few years and love it. Help me come back to my senses!

If you have young kids 15k will go a long way in a ESA account or a 529 exchange and grow tax free to be used for college........but what fun that would be. Lol

Keep the 500 for plowing and tight trails. If I just had to add a second machine, it wouldn't be the P1, it'd be a Talon! ;)
I agree! And probably the R.

If you love your 500 what eggzactly are you looking for in a 1000? Besides grass is always greener etc I'll bet the 500 will do most everything you want in a sxs. There is always something faster, stronger, and better no matter what machine you have. Being content with what you have can be difficult but if you are getting out in woods and having fun what else matters. There I tried

With the 500 It’s just not a smooth ride and I really want to be able to cruise at 45 mph. And I’m not a small guy so it’s a bit cramped.

I love the small size for the trails, but I’m starting to want something bigger and more comfy, with a bit more speed

I also want something I can seal up good for winter and I can’t see investing in a cab or doors for the 500

I’ve had both... and there’s truly no comparison, especially once you get it rigged out.

Only the grass along the bus routes is greener. Ride all day and see a few dirt bikes or ride all day and see @CumminsPusher in his Lexus? :D
Man I thought that was so funny. Wife is pissed about the Idaho pinstripes now, don’t expect that to happen for a while again.

Well even though there were some compelling arguments here, you have all failed miserably to talk me out of upgrading. It’s almost like you had the opposite effect! Literally I feel I must have a 1000 or I will never be happy again!
