Plastic clips for the shield are due to arrive today. Can't wait to try them out and hope they fit like you said? I don't really have a problem with the shield blowing back or anything but it will be nice to have something to hold it together where I cut around my snorkel pipe.
Thanks again!
Believe me they are very tight around the TriggerShield...assuming the same thickness of material.

On these install pics I mounted the reservoirs forward against the instructions which is to mount them with reservoirs to the rear.

Huge improvement just messing with setting now. With all four on softest setting you can feel a little body roll at about 20 mph and that was on hard pack. Will need a little more time to find the sweet spot for quick running! At this point I can say ride comfort has drastically improved!

They are sexy little b****es! Very pleased!:)

Had to take mine all apart to have black springs, those look BA!

Thanks, the wallet is still hurting but the pain is lessened with each ride! Have them set 5 clicks from softest and the still feel so comfortable! Going to set them to the center setting (15 clicks) tomorrow and run them hard and make adjustments on the trail.

Had a buddy stop at the house this morning having problems with his Popo. He asked that I follow him to a shop in Rolla and although I already had the 1000 out I thought it was a good opportunity to test the Elka’s:cool:

Still at five clicks all the way around I first thought I would just test comfort and take it easy so I didn’t make any adjustments. Everything felt good and I found myself pushing it further and further until the Mini BEAST was running wide open! In two wheel drive the back end was loose but I kept pushing her! All I can say is WOW!!!!

Jumping a few approaches I did find the bottom one time but still have a lot of adjustment to go! Next test will be 10 clicks front and staying with 5 rear for now!:)

That's awesome! Definitely seems like the faster you go the more difference they make, I've found myself running faster lately too...don't know if that's good or bad? o_O

Glad you like them.... hard to believe they make that much difference and with radials, man ride so nice at 5 psi tire pressure. I’ve not made time to mess with the adjustments on mine.
Cheers, happy riding.

Haven’t adjusted mine either. Tire pressure at about 7 psi, and set five click from softest setting. Haven’t had time to test ride at stiffest setting, but still real curious, lol. Soon;)

I aways get tickled by the guys saying they bottomed there shocks out and want to go stiffer, if your not bottoming your shocks out on the hardest hits, you need to bottom out on hard hits or else your not using all the shock. Only you know how hard to it it, HA!
