Thanks to @snuffnwhisky for figuring so many things out on the Pioneer and @joeymt33 for suggesting an adjustments as well as walking me through it. Clutch now shifts quicker, feels good. Thanks guys.

While underneath the bed I came across this wire issue, feel pretty lucky I caught it in time.

Ya ya I know. Almost didn’t share the photos. Dirt doesn’t bother me normally but opening something up scares me a bit. Had no way to pressure wash and wasn’t going to create mud by hand wash in the house so went slow and was as careful as possible

Merry Christmas my friend! And I’m not just wishing you this greeting to find out the adjustment:confused:

Feels nice to be back out! Clutch is running awesome handles great and the shifts are crisp. Loving it.
Went out for my daughter and me have been doing or annual Christmas donuts and having a blast, she’s gotten to the point we can tandem safely. It’s been amazing! New suspension I’ve been backing off a little but Sammy took it out as hard as normal lol.

Been three rescues in a row on Christmas, I think maybe that’s our purpose out here lol. Long ways from help here.
Came across a couple stuck out of gas. Went back and got fuel, dumped in a fiver. Battery was dead after cranking no jumpers so ran back and grabbed the Cummins battery, it was too big so had to improvise. Got him going and headed to his family Xmas party Sometimes that’s the most important thing of any ride is not leaving a man behind, they were still able to make Xmas :)
Awesome night!

What adjustments did you make for the shifting? Adjusted solenoid?
Ya. Snuff figured something out. Joey mentioned it because our previous clutch issues. We are getting a little weak on the clutches again so wth. Does feel better. Little jumpier even more then our first machine, like it should be.

What'd you do? I've got some lazy shifts, not slipping but just a slow lazy shift. If I hammer on it it'll shift hard with no slipping. I keep forgetting to do the relearn to see if that alone will remedy it.

@snuffnwhisky or @joeymt33 could help out better. Simple adjustment. Gotta head back to camp can mention more tomorrow but they’d be best to question.
Goodnight everyone, gotta head back to the carnage lol;)

NOCO is decent but check this out .......

That’s an awesome video... I’ve had mine for several years now. I’m sure the battery tech has improved and it shows. But I’m a little curious about it. I’ve used mine quite a bit and never had it not work. Either way, after seeing this I may try one of those others and compare.

I’m in the same boat, I’ve had mine for quite a while and I’m thinking the same thing. I’ve got a “DB Power” which looks the same as some this guy reviewed. It’s probably outdated. I have jumped the tractor several times and a couple vehicle but that’s it.

Yeah, realistically most batteries aren’t so drained that it would matter.

Clutch sits much taller even with no preload in the rear and very little in front, much less then it had. Shocks are stock length with no variable rate so that’s why. I figured that into the equation but didn’t think difference would be so drastic. So far I don’t mind the height but wasn’t going for that, after riding a bit it still feels stable. Even with less spacing between the coils it seems with more coils it makes up for it.
So far so good!

I know it’s frowned upon to speak of the other makes but man I gotta give that Wolverine credit! It’s got 700 miles more then the Pioneer and other then the axle I yarded out doing something it shouldn’t have been doing we’ve done nothing to that machine. Nothing! No battery tires brakes suspension just nothing. Even after my buddy drove us off a cliff and broke the box and twisted up the cage we didn’t even have to realign it. Pushed back up the cage and strapped the box together. Didn’t need upgrades from out the box and keeps going, it’s been our best machine. Coming on 4K now. I know it’s asked less of only carrying 1-2 people, the Pioneer doesn’t have that luxury but still damn. Love the Pioneer better but what a little beast, anything that’ll last like that with us has my stamp of approval on it. Best second vehicle or kids machine out there, he’ll even I have fun in it sometimes.
