Hello,
My 2016 Pioneer 1000-3 EPS has 30x10x14 High Lifter X Comp tires. How many pounds of air should be in each tire? How much pressure are y’all running?
I need it to be a smooth ride because I have a bad back. I mainly ride on black top/asphalt and gravel roads. I don’t go in much mud, except to my deer stand.

Try the sidewall recommendations and adjust from there

I’ve got 28 inch tires on 14 inch rims. I ran 14 psi at the TO to avoid pinch flats. Let them back down to 10 psi around here. @Backwoods pretty much runs asphalt and easy trails, he would have a better idea.

My max is 35 psi, Min 20 psi. I run 15 in them on bead locks. Every tire and everyone is different. They are also 10ply DOT

You want fewer pounds than @Backwoods is taking in his... backwoods any given evening or they'll pop, but more pounds than he's giving the ladies any given year. Start at maybe 25 and go from there.

There are a few variables when it comes to tire pressure. If you are adding it to the bottom you will need more air to support the weight. If you are adding to the top you can run less and get the softer ride you are looking for. really, it's trial and error but there are about a 1000 threads on it in the search bar up top. JK TGIF

I'm in the same boat as you are with a 2016, similar tire/wheels, and a sore back. I run 8-10 psi, EVERYWHERE I take it, and have NEVER had a single tire related issue for a tad over 10,000 miles... PS: the ride is WAY smoother at this pressure and the tire wear is not an issue. Still running the same tires that came to me with, & the original owner of this unit also recommended this pressure... ;)

I run 10-11 psi in mine with bead locks. BFG KM3’s 28x10x14. They run quiet on the little bit of time on State roads and will crawl through loose rocky hills with no tire spin.

The correct inflation pressure for each tire, regardless of size, for normal driving, is the pressure that will allow the tire tread to make full contact with the road surface. This can be easily determined on blacktop by driving the machine through a wet patch and then to observe the tread footprint made by a wet tire as it rotates on dry pavement.

Different or lower tire pressures are usually preferred in sand or other conditions.
