TN Campbell County $100 ride permit discussions

So all the East TN TWRA Trails are in Campbell County. Royal Blue, Sundquist, New River, Ed Carter (Tackett Creek) WMA Units. Much to the charging of locals complaining about light bars on roads, loud music, riding on roads after dark (illegal).

History- effective 7/1/2017 TN state legislature legalized sections of roads connecting the trail systems to each other, food, fuel, lodging, etc. This was proposed by Campbell County to get enacted. State & County LEO' s have been VERY tolerant in allowing people to have fun without getting citations for minor infractions, even to the point of allowing riders venturing way outside the legal designated road sections

Now they are discussing a $100 permit for non County residents. Pay attention to section from Sherrif Robbie Goins......

I saw it and figured this was coming. But I have to agree with it. A handful of disrespectful people on the weekends can be a huge problem for local residents who otherwise wouldn't care.

The story says, maybe with funds they can hire 2 more Deputies to patrol for OHV offenses.

Reality-based instead they'll buy 2 new trucks.

It's a $$$ grab from people who can't vote against it. Includes all other TN counties too.

Locals are 90% of the trash problem.
