Now that's some carnage! Yeah, one spare tire and wheel is a No-Go!

Had a rough night last night. Got stuck in deep gravel and mud. In an effort to rock it back and forth both front wheels shattered. Bent both front rotors and caliper mounts and broke the left front rotor off the hub. The rocks got bound in between the calipers and wheel. Both wheels blew out at the same time and the tires went flat.


Looks like both front tires are still good. Pile of parts on order to get this thing running for next weekend.

We had to take the smallest trailer in our group and tow dolly it back. With the left front rotor broke off it wouldn't roll

Bought 4 new wheels today. The 2 replacement Raceline wheels won't make it here for our next ride on Sunday. Currently working on squaring up the ears on the left front knuckle to fit the new brake caliper and mount.

Official damage report from Drummond Island weekend 2020

2 cracked front wheels Raceline Ryno Beadlocks
2 damaged front calipers 1 bent, 1 heavily rock damaged
2 bent caliper mounting brackets (1 broke/cracked)
4 bent caliper slide pins
2 bent front rotors
5 broken rotor bolts (replaced all 8)
1 bent knuckle (pounded straighterish?!?). On order but not gonna be on for this week
All the front brake pads destroyed
1 broken mirror


If anybody has interest in 2 Raceline Ryno wheels in decent condition, let me know. 14x7 5+2

Well RRB was awesome this week. We rode Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The kids and wife had a great time.

We put on about 180 total miles of riding. We did end with with a sidewall with a pinch flat that we repaired with plugs and a tear in the skid plate. Overall a great ride

Installed Seizmik mirrors today. They are the aluminum body mirrors with real adjustable glass. Totally awesome product and lifetime warranty

We've been in the hole where the wheels self destructed before and I'll probably go back. I wasn't aware that it was filled with rocks the same size as the gap between the caliper and front wheels.

Nice, those look like what I used. Thought about scuffing mine to diffuse the light some. I only used one in the middle so I've still got an extra if it doesn't work out.
