Well on Tuesday I was thinking if look over the bent a-arms and see how the new SuperATV arms looks. Today I unboxed the SuperATV arms and I'm certain upper a-arm gussets are needed.

I pressed a new set of Honda Ball joints in the SuperATV arms this after noon. Overall impressed, these arms are huge compared to stock. The Honda arms in these photos are my straight spares not the mangled 2018 arms with 500 miles of light trail usage

Back to work on this thing. A-arm mounts gusseted and SuperATV arms going on. Fixed a ripped inner front CV boot too. I'll swap to stainless brake lines before it comes off the lift too.

Why'd I do the lower front??? Well this looks kinda bad. My assumption is the compliance of the Honda a-arm bushing saved me a but more damage here. With the SuperATV arms and bushings I might not be so lucky.

I welded up the right side today. Overall really happy with the fit of the mount gussets and SuperATV arms. The camber was perfect out of the box and the alignment was pretty easy.

Right side welded up and painted with Rust-Oleum 2x paint/primer in gloss black

Hill Billy alignment, 1/8" toe in and a straight wheel sounds good to me.

Next up:

300lb springs for the rear fox shocks
Left rear outer CV boot.
Grease rear wheel bearings.

The new machine has 455 miles of fun on it.

I had some weld washers turned for the upper control arm if you want me to send you a set to trial.
CP installed some last weekend on his ride.

Would have been a lot easier to install them on my weld on tabs before burning them onto the machine. I looked into doing the washers but for now I think this will work
