Yes, they will do the upgrade before you even take delivery.

Just got back from the dealer. The 700 deluxe in all grey with the alloy wheels is a beautiful machine.
It is.

I think the 2017 Blue is quite lovely as well.

In fact...I still think the 700 (esp in 2 seat form) is the best looking Pioneer by far.

I was surfing the forum and came up on your thread, what machine did you end up getting?

So it must be time for pictures.
What accessories have you added?

I admit that I haven't read all the post on this thread, but I just bought a 2018, 1000-3, and I paid a heck of a lot more. I think the base price was around $15k plus all the options. I did get a glass windshield, hard top and back, fabric doors, and a 4000 lb. winch. It is a lot of machine, and I bought it with the turf mode in mind. Otherwise, I think the 700 would be plenty of machine for you (and me). The 1000 is one large machine and I am concerned with the size. That being said, I'll bet I love it on the trail. BTW, I plow quite a long driveway with my 1996 Honda Foreman ATV, and I will continue to use it for plowing. I think the 1000 would be a bit of an overkill, but it would get the job done for sure.

I would make sure they installed the transmission/clutch free update before you took delivery. I think this Honda "recall" has already been mentioned in this post. Applies to 2016 and 2017 I think - 2018 have the fix done already.

A hard top, glass windshield with wiper, soft doors and back, mirrors, a winch and plow at minimum are in the future plans. Right now I’m just concentrating on paying her off.

Had the clutch and cabin heat upgrades done before delivery.

My Pioneer isn’t much smaller than my 2 door Wrangler

I had a 2000 Rancher that I loved but sold it to buy the Pioneer, just got tired of struggling to plow snow with a much lighter machine. The Pioneer is about 3 times the weight of the Rancher so I’m sure it will plow much better. Also once the cab gets enclosed I won’t get snowed on anymore.
