Talon Trailer size?

Hi Guy's,
What size trailer are you hauling your Talon's on? I'm looking at a 12 foot tilt bed..... or should I go with a 14 foot for the added space? (Fyi, my tow vehicle will be a Toyota Tacoma)
Although, I have seen some pics.of trailer/ Talon setups can I see some more? Help me decide....

I’m using a 12’ with bifold removal ramp with my P1000-5. I don’t like the balance point of tilt trailers.

I got an aluminum 6x12 landscape trailer with 12" rails and drop ramp. I really like it. If you can, spend up a bit and get aluminum over steel. It is lighter and will still look good in 5 years. I may be wrong but dont' you start to see double axle at 14'? Double axle can certainly take more weight and maybe trailers a little better.

Maybe I need to rethink the tilt trailer? I was just thinking a tilt trailer would be the way to go....maybe not?

I would recommend a 14ft double axle utility trailer with breaks and easy assist tailgate lift and spare tire holder. You will be glad you have the extra room and you can still pull through two parking spaces and not stick out. The will be in the range of about $2500-$3000 for everything. With Single axle tilt trailers your just asking for something to go wrong. At least with the double axle if you have a flat you can still drive on three wheels to get to a safe area to change the flat.

I use an Aluma 8113 for both talon and pioneer 1000-5 also pull it behind my 25ft arctic fox bumper pull camp trailer dont even know it there. Trailer only weighs 587 pounds with sides and rear ramp.

2nd - if your not going Aluminum that is the way to go - pulls nice I have a load trail 14" double axle with brakes.

I sold my single axle in preparation for the Talon. I bought a 14' double axle with brakes. It pulls so much better than the single, and stops way better.

Looks like I'm looking at an aluminum tandem trailer with brakes......and no tilt.

I love my aluma, favorite trailer i've owned and much more handier than my equipment trailer. Worked great loaded with my P500 and friends rzr and then he towed his camper. Also works great for the Talon. Unfortunately, was too short at 16'6" for Talon and Rzr. Had to use my heavy 18' equipment trailer. Big jump in trailer weight from 800lbs to 2800 on the trailer and an extra 500 on the Talon over the P500. They make an 18ft in the same aluma trailer that I have, would love to upgrade to it!

Something else to consider a trailer with a gate can be safety feature it straps break or come loose gate can catch it

I agree.. if you only have one trailer get a tandem axle! And the 14’ is a good size.

if there is ever a set of tracks in your future, I would recommend 81" or 83" wide

If you are on a budget but still want a decent trailer. Sam's has a pretty good trailer. Karavan 6x10 all of the sides fold down and has a ramp on the rear.
