Hi All,

Put my first 150 miles on new 1000/5. So far so good, but wondering about the whirring, chirping noise that comes from the transmission area. It is louder than the exhaust at times and gets louder with higher rpms. I am sure it is normal but i find it irritating and takes away from the peace and tranquility i am trying to find.
Can anyone speak to this? Does the chirping reduce as the machine breaks it? Is it the transmission and I just need to live with it? Does anyone know the source of the noise? Is there a way to reduce it?
Thanks!
