What does the vent lines do anyways that's on the diffs? I've put bellows on my old Polaris rzr no problems I guess that's what I'll do on the Honda.

Replace the vent line with a bellow. You'll no longer have a vent line.

The vent is to allow the expanding and contracting air to have a place to go instead of pushing a seal out.

As the diffs get hot, the air expands and needs to have a place to vent. When it cools back down, it draws air back in. The bellow will expand and collapse but it's still sealed so water or dust can't get in.

Also, when the diffs are hot and you drive thru deep water, the diff rapidly cools and it will draw in water if the vent in under water.

So you would install that directly into the vent line? I need some pics of the install lol.

More of an expansion chamber, similar but not exactly like the extra tank that hold fluid for your radiator. It seals the system, where air pressure goes in and out of the billow instead of water into the vent line.

So would this system be more safely...then compared to just running the vent line longer to the top of the cage? Thanks for the patience.

Theoretically yes because it would be a closed system, whereas a hose of any length still has an open end providing an opportunity for contamination of the fluids.

I guess I'll be add another task to the to-do list. The sub trans will need to be snorkeled as well.

I'm glad I have a routine of checking EVERYTHING after every long ride. I don't do that every day around home but I will after all day events.

Where did it get water in shouldn't it be sealed if it vents into frame or is the frame full of water.

The frame ends are not capped. Water can enter there.

The WetSounds finally came in. I'm so glad that I got the 20" model, this thing is loud! It's not wired to the head unit yet, just been using it on Bluetooth. Here's some pics of the mounting location. I chose to mount it to the roof.







I've got some rubber backed ~3" diameter washers on the roof. This thing is rock solid. I was a a little weary of this setup but it doesn't move at all.

Do you have a picture of the top side? I have the same wetsounds speaker sitting the box still. I really like that location but it does make me wonder how it will hold up slamming around at an off-road park.

I'll get a picture of the top side tomorrow. I can tell you that it is very sturdy. I can barely budge it.

How do you like the six speaker setup? Is it plenty loud enough?

For me, gets too loud when turned up. This is a quality speaker with the weight to back it up. It feels like I'm holding bricks when I pick it up.

I have no regrets with it. It does not distort when maxed out either.

Hey Joe in regards to the forward arched a-arms, do you know where you'll get them? I been keeping an eye out for some to put on my 700, even emailed superatv. They said they might have something out by spring. Did you find them somewhere else?

I talked to @HondaProKevin today... it sounds like Outcast Fabworks, Highlifter, and Catvos all have forward arched arms in the works. Availability rumors are late January from Outcast, and mid February from Highlifter. Not sure about Catvos...

It looks like HL and Catvos have them for the p1000 in a couple months. There's a thread about the Catvos A-arms with pics of them installed on two pioneers.

I think outcast has them for a p700. There's a pic of the p700 with them installed some where.
