Oh yeah, warn finally got the winch parts sent to me. I quickly finished up the rear winch and I'm super satisfied with the results. The winch is a Warn 4000#. I just added synthetic rope and will see if it survives the muffler heat.

I've had enough of the lack of tie down points. McMaster has these rings for $1.05. Did I add enough?!

I then added some smaller rings to the outside. These are pretty weak rings that I used in hopes they break before pulling the thread insert out of the plastic. They should be good for the bungee cargo net or bungee cords.

It does flex and then return back. After seeing this I looked at the front winch on Farm Rig and it actually flexes more. I can't remember now which mount I used but it flexes twice as much!

I took many measurements before and after, so far nothing has moved permanently.

You guys may want to add some holes in the bottom of your doors. I drilled three small holes in the bottom of my doors but they still felt heavy so today I drilled larger holes in this water come out. This is water from the July 4 ride so it's been in there for over a week.

Added a new throttle body adapter plate today. It's 4mm bigger like the African Twin.

You can take your throttle body plate to someone with a machine shop and have them bore it out. Below are the pics.

You probably can't tell from this picture but it is 4 mm larger

The shorter version has been bored out. The one on the left has the extension that goes down inside the throttlebody and reduces the diameter.

This is a picture of the bored out throttlebody on top of the unmodified throttlebody.

So did it do anything? I made probably a dozen speed runs in the same place I had before. I did several before changing the body and several after. It actually does seem to accelerate harder after the throttlebody has been bored out. And I gained 1 mph going up a hill. Now what what does that mean in HP? Have no idea but it helps.

Traveller can be seen here in rare form. I caught him in the shop practicing ballet to improve his sure-footedness on the trail. Kinda like running backs take a few ballet lessons.

So the reason it's on its side is because last Monday I changed the oil and found that there was no spring between the engine filter and cover. s***! I've been 100 hours or ~450 miles like that. I finished the oil change and got the spring a few days later. So I turned it on its side so I can remove the cover and install a new spring without loosing oil.
