So Warn sent the wrong parts. They sent a warn provantage 3500 kit. They told me no problem, they would send the correct parts out. I should have them when I return from Panama.

Awesome company to work with. Also, hopefully I'll find out what winch Honda uses. I already know it's not the provantage 4500 or 3500.

Something I found interesting: the provantage 3500 used bronze bushings for bearings and the Honda version used sealed roller bearings. The Honda winch looks good on the inside like it's better built vs the PV3500.

When they ship the parts to me, I'll let you guys know what kind of winch Honda uses hopefully.

CP: I've been saying that since that jack wagon was picking Legos from his turds:)

My oem battery died in Traveller. FYI, Oreilly auto parts had exact replacements in AGM and a great warranty. It was nice to go into my own town locally and buy the replacement.

Recently I added the dash heat shield offered by @Montana.

The quality is great! Large easy to read letters and it blocks the heat great.

One thing he doesn't tell you is that you will have to glue the rubber the aluminum. I used black RTV. Also, I strapped the aluminum to a 20lb propane tank to bend it to the shape of the dash. It worked perfect.

I gave the aluminum a brushed finish with a SS wire brush. It looks great.

Next task is to fill the letters with something red.

Dummy me didn't take a pic of it installed!

The propane tank trick totally rocks!! Some of my rubber didn't stick completely to the aluminum. At speed it doesn't matter. The rubber is pushed flat against the metal by the very air it's keeping out lol. Thanks for the tips!!

I finally got shipping notification for the winch parts!

I'm so ready to finish that project. Parts will arrive Friday next week.

Then I finally got around to installing the SS brake lines from @jak9922. Really nice kit. It came with everything needed. Easy to change.

I upgraded because of recent failures at the Takeover. Those had me worried. Then I saw this cut in one of my lines...

No need to worry anymore, these lines are stronger, moved to a new location so they don't get pinched by the tie rod, and they're a little longer. Longer is better as the stock lines were stretching a little with the lift kit.

It's just an added bonus that the brakes feel tighter now. They are great!

Thanks Jak
