As much as you tinker with the pioneer, it should be bulletproof bye now, Oh wait a minute, we got to remember who’s driving it!!!!!

In prep for the Takeover I didn’t have much to do but I did inspect a lot of things.

I pulled the IGR and clutches. They looked perfect.

I also changed the angle of the exhaust outlet on the HMF muffler. A lot of people complain because it points straight down and makes a lot of dust.

I got tired of the mud busters tearing off. I made some replacements out of rubber conveyor belt and they have already been tested thoroughly and have proven to be tougher than the plastic mud buster.

I cut some slits in it in several places to allow it to fold and not pull out the rivets and screws. I also scored the backside to allow it to fold easier.

The exhaust mod will be welcome to people ridding behind you in dry conditions, HMF's make a lot of dust, you happen to make templates of your mud busters? I never bought the Mud Busters because, I knew they would last like a fart in a whirl wind.

I did not but I can bring them to the takeover for anyone that wants to trace them out.

@joeymt33 do you happen to have a link to the filter/clamp you're using on your snorkel? I was checking it out at Takeover and really like that clamp/filter setup you've got.

The clamp was an old clamp I had laying around but I could probably find something like it. The filter should be in my Amazon history.

I’ll go check.

I did not remove the factory filter. I’m using this pre-filter just to save the factory filter and extend its life.
That's what I figured. Any issues with rain/mud running that setup? I like the simplicity of running it out the hood and just buying another hood if I don't want it snorkeled any more. Thanks!!

I carry the snorkel head to swap out in case of rain.
