are you going to be doing head studs or anything to support the extra pressure?
no because im not going to be pushing it that much 7psi ish isnt close to the danger area now if i was saying psi in the 20s then id have to drop the compression ratio and stud the head and intakeare you going to be doing head studs or anything to support the extra pressure?

dobeck afr+ so i cant mess with the timing lol reason i have to keep boost levels im checkDo you have a powercommander on the 500?
i was going to go pc5 but dobeck gave me a discount i couldnt say no to... i figure i keep the wot afr high 10s -11 max with a step colder plug should be fine for low boost pressureWith the powercommander, you can hook a map sensor to it and retard the timing plus the auto tune option.
I wanna turbo the the 1k!
oil feed is where the problem is without building a stand alone oiling systemStill waiting for someone to turbo the P5....
RHB31 VZ21 turbo looks to be a perfect match. $140 on eBay. It’s tempting. That little 2 valve head just needs some boost to wake it up. Cheaper to do a turbo then a big bore. Also has way more cool factor.
Yes, that is a head scratcher. How did SpiffyD do it on his 700? From the pics, it looks like he pulls pressure off the head? Return can be dumped back into the crankcase anywhere. I just ordered a used oil filter cover for cheap on eBay...going to see about drilling and tapping a 1/8 npt fitting into it. Guys have done that to add an oil cooler on a 300ex or some of the utility models that didn't come with a cooler. There is a guy on youtube running a rhb31 diy turbojet with no oil by using ceramic bearings. Not sure how long they would hold up.oil feed is where the problem is without building a stand alone oiling system
