P1000 Valve Noise?

Hey, got done plowing and playing in some snow with my 2021 P1000 (700 miles) and when I went to shut it off I heard a new ticking sound which I think is coming from the valve cover?

I don’t beat this thing up, just wondering what it could be? I have not check the valves yet? I just changed fluids. Did the stress of plowing change change something with the valves, Idles great and starts great!
Please help?

Mine also started after I changed oil. It comes and goes. Goes away with a little throttle. Mine has been doing it for 2 years now. Sometimes I won’t notice it for months. Could be fuel related? I have also thought maybe the tensioner… The valves have shims for adjustment, which I have never messed with. My dealer said it’s normal.

I’d check the oil levels and if ok, I personally wouldn’t loose any sleep over it unless you used some other oil weight than what the manual recommends. 10w40 iirc.

The reason I think it is fuel related is this. When mine was stock, the tick was at idle. I then got a custom fuel tune, and the tick is around 3500 rpm now… Intermittently.. I am not worried about it…

One year on the way to Canada they had the interstate closed down and diverted Downtown St Paul, beautiful city.
