I've never driven a Talon. I'll leave this to those who own them and who've owned past and current 2024 models to comment.

I have a 2024 X2 with the Showa suspension. It sucks so bad, I've already replaced the Showa's with Bandit Stage 5 struts. (they are awesome!) I notice that virtually every test day offered by Honda rarely includes the X2, and is rarely hosted in east coast terrain. The 'adjustment' available on the showa's is limited to damping. Ride height, pre-load, cross-over, is not adjustable. On the X2 model, the rear primary or 'tender' springs are fully compressed with no load in machine. The ride is bad beyond my vocabulary to describe adequately. The damping settings do nothing but go from incredibly bad to un-f'ing believably bad. Maybe the 'live valve' Fox suspension works properly on the X2, I don't know, but I do know that the Bandit stage 5's ($2400 to my door) ride amazing, and are fully adjustable in every aspect of operation, you know, like every other high performance machine on the planet is, and what should be on the Talon in the first place.
