You run dual batteries, my winch runs off the secondary battery.

Mine just runs on the original battery.
All good so far.

well mr Smitty...... I had to take my battery isolator and second battery out or Honda would not cover my warranty.....
anyway I think the problem was definitely a shorted out battery that just made everything go haywire........
I am going back with dual battery and isolator like I had the first time..... only I am going to clean up and label all my accessory wires better....
