I was a little disappointed after all the hype. It really did not appear to be much (if any) larger, but it was definitely much brighter than usual.

Supposed to hang around 100 the next 10 days with no precipitation in sight. Still in extreme drought. Folks are baling soybeans and corn. Going to hit 100 with low humidity and windy this weekend. May have some fires. Spent a couple hours yesterday fixing the engine stop cable on one of out tenders.

Hang in there. We were on fire here a couple weeks ago lost about 190 structures. Cooled off and finally got rain. Fire still going but things are settling down. It will come your way one day. All the best to you.

We are going to get some nice weather this week finally. Going up to the mid 80's or so. Definitely not 100. Too damn hot.

Hang in there. We were on fire here a couple weeks ago lost about 190 structures. Cooled off and finally got rain. Fire still going but things are settling down. It will come your way one day. All the best to you.

That's about what we lost in our big fire a couple months ago. And people can't find reputable contractors to build their homes back. Then we had the 98 inches of rain in 12 hours. So people flooded. I was lucky. Even on top of our hill people got flooded. So lots of damage in peoples basements.
Hopefully September and October will be nice.
