FYI. I’d give the win to Trail armor for the skid. I’ve installed both and like the trail armor better because they have a metal pice the goes in between tube and skid it give it a nice flat fit. Also gives you an inch or sit to hold body off rocks. Here what I am talking about with my Factory UTV. Just a small detail I like better about the trail armor.

True. Hard to see from my pic, but there’s a good inch of metal between the frame and the skid.

Their thing back in '21 must have been teaching their workers how to cross thread bolts and screws. If so, mission accomplished. It's been a long time since I've had a tap and dye set out. They're a solid machine. I'm guessing the '21 was a COVID era machine. I'm sure it will be worth a fortune in 100 years.

Thanks for the info, I'll give them a look over since they are $1700 full set vs. $1995 FUTV w/o X brace.

I like how the FUTV trailing arm guards fully surround the trailing arms on both sides and bottom vs. Trail Armor only covers bottom and outside. The rocks where I live just wait for an open space underneath. See pic comparison...

Yeah they don't even have it together yet, been sitting in warehouse as shipped for past 7 weeks.

I guess since Trail Armor makes you piece meal the A-Arm & Trailing Arm guards in addition to the main Skid, I could just order those items from FUTV as those items offer much better coverage for said items.

I'm sure Trail Armor has learned much in past 9 years, but I played guinea pig Dec 2015 with their P1K skids and pieces kept getting ripped off, still got a side piece missing in Tackett Creek from Oct 2016, wasn't as worried about it as I was the 2 broken axles and burnt clutch pack from that day
