P500 What did you do to/with your Pioneer 500 today?

Got a mount set up for a Gopro, and finally ordered the power steering kit today. Also got it loaded up for a trip to Windrock. Will be my P5, the wife's Rancher, and my in-laws 2 new Foremans on the trail tommorow. Ride Red!

I hear you on that, I think we have only had like an inch at a time, I was hoping for 4 to 6 so I could take Honda to play in the snow for the first time. Not looking likely at this point.

You still have the glove box?

My dad purchased a 500 and I put the bumpers and glove box on there. After sanding and painting, it all looked brand new.

Finally tried the four wheel drive today, I eased up to this pile in two wheel until the rear tires started to spin. After that I locked it in to see what one front wheel could do and was fairly surprised, the ground was super tacky on top now that it’s 55 instead of -20. I thought about trying to go completely over it but was pretty sure I was going to get high centered lol!

Didnt do anything.... but got these babies in, hope to install tomorrow, pending work and the almighty dollar haha...Their elcheapos from amazon for 55 bucks we will see how they last....I did hook to 12v and they are stupid bright....time will tell....

What brand are they? I had a nilight 20” light bar on my last side by side and it took a beating and never gave up.

Northpole Light..... I also got this rocker to control them along with other things... seems to be good quality,,,,again time will tell

I installed this rocker and plug set when I got the P500, about 14 months ago. Fits nice on the dash where the warning plate was. Switches have been good... no issues.

Power steering showed up today, unfortunately it was for a 700. Rocky Mountain atv sent a return label so now it's on its way back. Hopefully they will get the replacement in the mail quickly.

3 days of ice fishing in northern Iowa on the Great Lakes. Temps were below 0 in the mornings. My 2016 P500 would not start after 3 attempts had to put the jumper box on the battery to get it started. Any tricks that might help next time. Would a different oil viscosity for cold temps help?

Which lake were u fishing on Okoboji or big spirt ? Know
The area well . I run synthetic in all my machines haven’t
Had any issues , knock on wood!!

Awesome, I met a guy Saturday at Windrock who had just gotten a P500. Told him about it as well.

Power steering showed up today, unfortunately it was for a 700. Rocky Mountain atv sent a return label so now it's on its way back. Hopefully they will get the replacement in the mail quickly.

The Tusk unit is branded Rugged and it's made by PD Industries. I would be curios if the EZ Steer isn't the same unit rebranded? Sure looks to be exact same unit.

I've got everything mounted up, just need to run the wires to the battery.

Yeah looks identical other than the badges. They claimed the EZ Steer was made by SuperATV. Either they came out of the same place or someone stole the others design to a tee.
