Hey....webby....
where ya at ?.....
We all know...Hope to
see some....DIRT...MUD...
all over that thing.
Well I went out for a couple hours by myself this afternoon and found a little mud but it's been awful dry here. Standard photos again but here ya go. Just can't get over the difference the tires have made in the ride. I'm gonna take a quick run tonight just to see how the LED's are.

Went prairie dog hunting this morning. Used 22-250. And first time my Gf target shot 22 lr . The one I killed was swallowed by rattle snake. Then we drove across a field and stuck in the irrigation ditch. I could not get out , so went up hill to call my friend to pull us out , if I can not do it with my 4 runner, but when I climbed it I saw my Gf driving and screaming that she got out. She was so scared that rattle snake would bite me in the field that she started to drive sxs , don't know what she did :).

Actually not, her logic was that she turned off 4W and switched to 2W, because she "needed more power to rear wheels" and she was able to turn p500 along ditch, I was trying to tackle it perpendicular , but it was too high, so I was ending with front up in the air and rear were digging into channel. Anyway I did not play enough to try different options and was blaming myself for not bringing field recovery anchor, that I recently bought and just decided to walk a a mile back to my truck.

And God is my witness I was scared to be bitten by rattle snake , so took my 22Lr rifle and walked slowly :). We've been dating for a year now and living together for 3 months, I think those 4wheeling trips create enough of challenging situations that makes me think more and more she is my kind of girl :).

Six years of prairie dog shooting and we've not encountered a rattle yet :)

Just got back from South Dakota and four days of prairie dogs. Had a number of firsts for me on this trip.

1. It was my first time hauling cross country with a trailer. I made up some plywood panels to make it a little more air dynamic, allow storage in the cab and as a side benefit it disguised it as something less than desirable to steal. I got a few comments in gas stations that led me to that comment. That should be a good thing for when I need to spend a night in a motel.

2. This was my first real off-roading run with the machine since I got it last November. Had a blast putting on around 65 miles. Almost ready for my first service. No mud on this trip, but lots of hills. If you look closely you'll see my yellow P500 sitting up on a knoll overlooking a dog town.

3. Bought my first new vehicle beside the P500 (I'm in my 50's). Left home towing with my 1994 Ford Explorer and got with with a new 2016 Ford F150XLT. Blew the front transmission seal just outside of Platte SD. The Ford dealer there is OUTSTANDING. As best I can tell I got a better deal there than if I got it at home. Bad luck turned into good luck. I was planning a new truck this fall. Plans just got moved up a little. The old Explorer didn't do well on the hilly roads at all.

That's neat. Looks like eastern Montana. So the rattle snake moved right in on the prairie dog that you shot, that's wild. Your ride sure is clean.

Yes, it was not muddy, rather swampy and lots of tall grass at the bottom and rocks on top of hills .

Took the beast up to St. Helen today...
Went through nearly every type of trail, steep uneven hills, soft sand, deep mud, water over the hood, limb covered fire lanes, moguls for days, tree covered like canopies, ruts and rocky. Found out the little woman doesn't like blazing up uneven hills too much...
Best trails I've ridden yet, not too many low hangers and 50" trails that were pretty well groomed.
Even took it on pavement for the first time. It was like UTV USA up there. Driving in the streets, parked in gas stations, restaurants, even at the drug store. They were everywhere. Fueled up at the Shell station and had lunch at a mom and pop. Very cool day of riding! :)St Helen Me in St Helen

Very nice. We have to sneak around on asphalt down here. Did you see any other P5's?

Negative. Did see a red P7-4.
I thought you had to sneak around on asphalt everywhere
unless you're road legal...I wasn't on it long. Kinda strange pulling up
to gas pumps and parking in lots like a you would a car though...
I could get used to it.
