Depends on where the Rockies officially end and what you mean by "close". I'm about 30 miles south of Phoenix. Looks like about 10 hrs.One of my brothers works only on high end cars. He won’t even look at anything I own. Haha. Not expensive enough. Some cars I just shake my head. Probably a lot of nice cars in AZ. I’m north, so when I think of Arizona, I think heat. Like 140 degrees in the summer. That’s mind boggling. Are you close to the Rockies. Thanks for the info.

The underhood plastics (like hard vacuum lines) get pretty frail after several 115 degree summers. German cars are the worst! You touch a plastic breather elbow or hard vacuum line on a 10 year old German car, it will turn to dust...
