New Elka shocks installed and the quick shield. Both are highly recommended for those seeking comfort.

She is tucked back into her spot at the back of the garage for now. But I cannot wait to get her out on the trail!

@trigger if you see this, can you let me know if I have the back of the shield correctly installed? I feel like it shouldn’t be folded over but if it isn’t, it covers the seat pads at the top. Any insight would be helpful.

On the 500 it fits under that bar like you have it and then tucks over the first bar of the rear rack. But with the 520 that's the bed isn't it? I give a lot of extra material back there bc I really don't know what needs to be done. My suggestion would be to go over top and fasten to that bar, probably need a couple slices to do that. You could poke holes and use zip ties to fasten to the bar. Might have enough material to drape over into the top of the bed and loosely lay to kind of create a seal. I really need to get my hands on one.
Nice machine btw, I'm digging the bed rails and the nerfs.

@trigger ….so I reached over and popped the door latch and just pushed her out. We weren't going that fast and she's a tough bird, knows how to tuck and roll so I knew she'd be alright. Now THAT RIGHT THERE folks is true BRAVERY! If’in that was my house I’d just kept on a drivin over the horizon… mahahaha! tigger you da man! Good to know the Mrs. is okay and I know you’ll be a payin for that down the road, recommend a lock for the latches! Excellent adventure! Thanks for sharing!
