Went for a ride last night. Unfortunately, I got rear-ended by a polaris - hit me hard enough that I feel lucky not to have a neck injury... The damage doesn't seem to be too bad. The winch on the front of the polaris is what hit me, and my exhaust took the force of the hit. It seems to be okay, just sucks that my muffler is pushed up against the frame on the passenger side. I'll take some pics soon.

No, it didn't seem to lose power. And the exhaust doesn't seem to be leaking. I really hope I don't have any serious problems.... I'm surprised it didn't break anything, but I can't say that for sure yet. The muffler seemed to be the only point of contact so the exhaust took all the force of the hit...

Wow, that's neat. I don't believe I've seen them before, or heard of them for that matter. Would you describe them to me. And is it a pelt you're selling?

We have them in Colorado. Its good they are small. If they weighted 200# no one would be living in north America. Nasty little critters that lay claim to a tree they live in and will defend it to the death. Just picture a furry velociraptor. I had one go after my horse one night when I was packing out a elk and decided to stop under his tree because of the bad storm that was raging.

That cute furry little thing???? Ok, I better keep an eye out for them too, they must be over here, I doubt I'm more than 250-300 miles from there.

Did a little service of my own after a couple of rides since the initial dealer service. Changed the front and rear Diff fluid for Bel-ray and then cleaned the air filter. How is it possible that Honda missed the rear diff drain hole through the skid plate so badly. Also I had bought and installed the frame caps last year when I first purchased the Pioneer and when I took off the skid plate to get at the rear diff I was surprised by how much water was draining out of the bolt holes. So I decided to pop off the frame caps and holy smokes was there a lot of sand in there as well. All of that water and sand = rust if left unchecked, so the caps are coming off the back.

Tested again my new hoist with hitch anchor point. Love it, well spend money for those with back problems and hunting alone. It rotates around on two bearings , I used it as crane to load into p500

Also wondering about the mirrors, thought about them for plowing. Let us know how they work out thanks.

I have the same mirrors, they are nice for plowing. Just have to make sure they are adjusted right to see what you want, the shape and convex lens make it a bit odd at first. Otherwise they are very nice to have.
