Kids got me the cover for when we're camping. It's snug with the fender flares, roof light bar, high spare tire mount, and a few other things but it fits! I'll get some foam for the sharp/pointy things.

Got bound up under throttle and popped another CV, my second; this one at 12,923 miles. :( That didn't incapacitate me but the boot was also spitting grease previously, so it had to be replaced anyway, replacing the CV itself was a no brainer.

I don't have the necessary 'pliers' to cinch the boot clamps so I pay my dealer to do that. The 'proper' pliers are ~$300.

search stretchcvboot if ya are interested in band clamp tools and bands for cv joints, etc. - its the concept I found quickly - motion pro makes the clamp kits and pliers as well - not sure why the honda clamp needs Hercules to set the clampl .... - I have used the band clamp tools, 1/4", belt and buckle type - best yet if ya can swing by the shop, walk in the back, set then bands

I will say it takes practice, actually reading the instructions and practice, did I say practice... replaced many cv boots on friends machines/my machines - el cheap o here -

I gave mine a thorough power washing last night before it rolled back into the shop for its next round of modifications for the 2024 race season.....

It's taking every ounce of willpower in my body to not order a 1.5" die for my bender, a pile of cromo tube and then cut the whole top of the chassis off and start over. I've learned a lot of new tricks since 2019 and it's killing me not to implement them on this car. Decisions... Decisions... 🤔

I've seen several CV boots held on with safety wire instead of clamps.

I'm happy with my Tusk Terrabites. 4500 miles and they are about 1/2 worn. We run into paved roads frequently when riding on ATV routes between trail systems in Wisconsin
Did you go with the 8 ply or 10 ply terrabites?

I went with 10 ply Aramid Terrabites. I wanted as much sidewall protection as I could buy as the only two tire failures I have experienced on my previous Honda Pioneer were both sidewall punctures

I (again) pulled the wheels off, took off the bead lock rings, and put some bead sealant on. It's annoying how much air just seems to disappear from these. I have Terrabites on Tusk Uinta rims. Does anyone make tire specifically for beadlocks since regular tires aren't made to seat on the inside of the tire?
