P500 What do you do for a living?

I have some friends that are into this. I stopped by the show in Oklahoma earlier this year and he is going to SD next month. Someone is supposed to have a 150 HP Case Tractor built from scratch. It's cool stuff.

Cool, We did a Minneapolis tractor with a new boiler and complete restoration.

I agree. I love seeing people take advantage of all that retired life has to offer. So much time and energy put into a job for 30+ years; it would be a shame to waste the freedom. As someone who has well over 20 years left, its nice when current retirees can show us how it's done.

That's cool, I love the freedom.

The freedom is nice. It does come at a cost though. You have to work your butt off when necessary to take the time off when you want.

Does that mean you maintain the equipment that dries/processes the rice?

Oh I know dude. I had a construction company in Dallas from 88-98. I wasn't suggesting that it's easy, but it is freedom working for yourself.

But my FT job is being an environmental compliance manager for Walmart Stores Inc. If you could remove the retail part of it its a fairly decent job.

I own 4 Twin Peaks restaurants in Oklahoma and Arkansas. So basically I have 300 teenage daughters to drive me crazy..

Haha, I had a freightliner which is produced by FCA. I wore it out and the Volvo is a ton more comfortable plus saves me a ton on fuel. And it is my pleasure. I tried to join the military when I was 18 and asthma kept me out, so I wanted to do something else to help serve (service) our country.
