If Honda comes out with a four seat, think it will be a stretch limo design? With this platform, I just can't see it any other way, but Honda did come out with the P7-4 & P1-5???????
Honda in Troy,OH had a blue 1000X in stock as of this morning. And a Red 1000R there, the R is sold though.
I just drove by this morning I wish I would have known!
Might have to tool down there and drool a bit tomorrow morning...

Bummer! I'll be stuck at work and no way I could ever make it there in time.

Hanover powerparts in Northern New Jersey has an X and wants msrp + all fees/ and taxes obviously. So no deals being made up here yet.

I called around a number of places in my area (Minneapolis) once I saw they were delivering over the weekend. (I hadn't been watching closely.)
I had a wide variety of responses.
One shop wanted $1k down on the 1000X but were dealing on the 1000R under MSRP with no delivery.
One shop said they had a blue 1000X incoming and didn't expect it to sell, and had no price set nor wanted to talk about price.
One shop said they sold out and didn't have a new date for incoming.
One shop said they sold their R but had a 1000X available at MSRP with no delivery/fees.
I then called/emailed four places in WI and had two quotes over MSRP and two no-returns.
I bought at the 1000X at MSRP with no fees (tax and DNR registration) and they had it ready when I got there. Original call around 4p, and I drove down and loaded it up at 630p. Props to Motoprimo in Lakeville for the painless transaction.
I had it out and got it pretty dirty late last night, and excited to take it out again this afternoon! Sadly, accessories are hard to come by.

Paid $20,003 out the door for a 1000R Thursday. Almost 3500 less than all the local dealerships quoted including the dealership I ended up buying from. I refused to pay MSRP and a week or so later the dealer called me saying come get it for $21,400. I said no, 20 out the door. I ate the extra 3 dollars.

Tried to get local Michigan dealer down to 20,000 for R model without tax. They would not go below 20,400.
Put a deposit on R model red at Abernathy's for 19,300. They think it will be available within two weeks.

Abernathy Honda in Tn. does not have stock now but is taking deposits on units arriving weekly.

They didn't mention sales tax so I'm sure that would vary by state. Indiana would collect mine at the BMV when I titled it.
I was thinking seriously about getting one this week but decided to stick with the Pioneer for a while longer.

$18900 otd for my green R. They have a blue x for 17700. This was the next state over so no tax. I also had them add 4 more years of warranty which totals 5 years for an additional $562. They also gave me 10% off on accessories. May need it for this first year machine. I have never bought an extended warranty before.
