What wheel offset do most of you guys prefer? I like the 4+3 over the 5+2 because my understand it makes the tires sit out a little wider which to me helps with these machine.

I had 5+2 wheels with 1" spacers which is basically the same spacing as 4+3 wheels and no spacers. I think the width was around 54" or so. If I were to do it again I'd just get 4+3 wheels with no spacers.

I have 5+2 offset and 1.5" spacers on all four corners. And I have 25" Kenda Bear Claw HTRs. Seems very stable... but I'm not worried about keeping a narrow stance for restricted 50" trails or loading in a truck bed. Stability was the primary factor for me. I wanted the smaller 520 to be able to thread thru tight trails in the woods, which it does well. The spacers and offsets don't limit my ability to drive those trails.

Same size tires and 5+2's on all four and 1" spacers for the back for an even track width. That'll put you at about 54". 4+3's will put you at about 56". Having ran about every width found that 54" is enough, it's stable. Went as high as 57", it was super stable but too wide for me. Was rubbing trees with the front tires and it just wasn't necessary. If looking at or running ITP rims the 4-3's are only a half inch more offset than the 5-2's for some reason. I think the steelies are the only 4-3's they offer nowadays but combined with front 5-2's is a good setup. My older Magnum 4-3's with 10" Mud Lites (9.75 wide) are just under 54". Wish I had 4 of those because the 2-5's with 12 wides in the back sure do find tree trunks and trail obstacles. And a huge push condition from the extra traction and width. I prefer the same size all the way around on a SXS as we're pretty much just drivin small 'jeeps'........
