You may or may not know, but never ever use brake clean to clean remove contaminants before welding. Grab a gallon of acetone, or alcohol to wipe down before welding.

I would have to hit the google machine. But you are correct. DEADLY.
If you thought a @JTW dutch oven was bad, welding over brake cleaner film is worse.

You guys must not braze near refrigerants. It will burn the skin and lungs. Humans don’t burn chlorine for long in closed spaces.
