Speaking of the original thread title lol I have a huntsman that takes 24” logs , has a secondary heatexhanger and heats my 1200 square foot cabin easily. It was made in GA and not made anymore. Very heavy stove. When we put it in, my arcehole was hanging out 3’ by the time we were done! There was a lot of beer consumed HahaView attachment 103831

And when the mechanical device fails, ow I know they never do (HA!) what then? I don't smoke and can smell CO, yea the so called experts say it's odorless, I can't stand to be in a home with new carpet and can smell CO2, it has a sweet caustic smell to me. Please don't go to bed with any kind of appliance

If you stopped up the combustion vent, unplug your combustion air vent and your unit will burn a lot better!

I run my charcoal webber grill inside. I love the smell and puts out an amazing amount of btu's!

have a 4x4 rack that will last a week or two. i use a two wheel cart with a strap but its 30 ft way from the door found got to be in the sun to dry. both this and the furnace down stairs are 600+ and me and the wife put them in. mostly me and furniture dolly. took four big guys to move the old franklin stove that was my grandfathers and is now decoration

No, I didn’t stop anything up, I’m just saying that since it was new it’s been a pita. It doesn’t sense enough air or smells mamas perfume or hears the coyotes, whatever, always is shutting down.

Oh I see. Well to me if it’s so sensitive that it goes off during the night and I wake up cold, it’s not good. I wish I could adjust sensitivity lol.
