I think the noise level is not bad because the restriction is not as bad with the bigger fittings and not as many fittings used if that makes any sense
Yep!

I wonder if the right side has enough room for air snorkel and heat fan exhaust?

Got my snorkel done, used a automotive vent kit for an air intake, from auto zone. Didn't feel like it was water tight so I used some gasket maker and sealed it off. Just reused they stock filter but I it might be better to but a small one that fits over the end. Did anybody else seal theirs off? 44916fed8e4d21e99ca4b931940bbebd85d90a7e716dd9417a032a78729ed5e9345f58f48167f08aedfd1c1ff06b6eca

For the time and money invested, I think the 2017 intake cover and block off plate is a lot better idea. You haven't covered up the intake hole above the fan and you have the added restriction of crushing the stock foam intake block with no benefit of added height. I think you'd be better off going back to the drawing board on this idea

I didn't get a pic of where a tucked it but it's up under the dash. Is that what you meant about not covering up the intake hole? Or is there something else besides the air intake I hooked to that needs covering. I agree there isn't any advantage to this type (stealth) snorkel over the new intake from Honda. But I wouldn't think it would necessarily be worse either.

Unless you have sealed the inner fenders there is a lot of water splash up the fire wall so moving the intake under the dash doesn't have a significant benefit. Leaving the hole open at the stock intake location also allows water splash under the hood.

Make sure to run some wire through the hose into the filter because ot will suck that little booger all the way into the air box

There seems to be allot of people doing it this way. You'd think somebody would have had problems by now. But you got me a little worried about it now though, maybe I'll by the honda intake after all.

I used a zip the. You think this is a safe setup, or do you agree that it is better of stock. I'm planning on buying a filter to go on the end.

Personally I think it's safe. Many are using that kind of setup. I used a similar one until i got my snorkel run off the airbox. Mine was pvc pipe. IMG 20161029 211212948
This is what i meant by pinning the filter in place.

That's the exact area that I noticed a lot of splash before adding my inner fender covers and my tool box shelf. Just going based on what I experienced.

What did you do to cover your inner fenders? Anybody seen a link for the honda intake cover? I'd be interested in seeing how expensive it is anyways.

The Fox Shocks are awesome. Best mod yet. The ride is significantly improved and the adjustments are simple and aggressive

Oh yeah, it will be fine. NO, it has not been raised 3ft, but it IS several inches higher than stock and better protected for 'splashing'. If water is above my seat, I am backing out anyway. It aint a submarine ..... lol

the honda is gone totaled in accident but I did find a pic that might help this set up worked fine and not noisey at all the second pic is the best way to keep things out of the intake you do have to remove the center seatbelt though hope this helps if you have any more questions just ask ok
