@CumminPusher outstanding job on the build, I wish I had the talent and vision you have! I’m having a hard time to even decide on a gooseneck flat bed or bumper pull flat bed trailer.

Thank you for the kind words. Since I was young I never gave up. If something failed you tried again. If you couldn’t buy something you built it. If it’s camping related my family busts ass to find a way because this is what we live. Built not bought has become words to live by for all of us, and sometimes it creates what’s actually needed that money cannot buy.
Need to give credit here, my daughter has helped a lot on the toy hauler and my wife is right by my side on this even when she doesn’t know what to do because it’s as important to them and the reason it got started. It really helps, I’m a lucky man that way.

Fridge vents in and the battery access is in. Building a box on inside for 2 8d deep cycles. This’ll be exactly like the bus with 490 available amp hours.
The fridge needs to vent really well and be sealed up tight on its cooling path for efficiency and life of the fridge. Long day today doing tedious crap.
Used butyl tape on vents and doors and came back with silicone on the edges.

Granted money running out my ass would help but I would still do it my self I'd just have more time to do it

Agreed! But usually if you had money all along you wouldn’t have the ability or desire to do something yourself. Someone with knowledge and passion would be dangerous with money.

Fridge compartment done. Always a struggle for me.
Water proofed everything that sits at back edge from ceiling down. In any Motorhome that area can get water in it from driving or storms.
Because of the angle of the roof I cheated and used styrofoam but that doesn’t matter up high because it’s just to direct the heat out. Filled the gaps with foam

The outside vent is slightly lower then the fridge and sealed tight to allow any water or moisture back out the vent and away from interior of the home. Many Rv’s get water damage here and I’m not going to allow that.

Upper deflector from vent to fridge is all that remains but that’ll be finished after install.
This area is crucial for cooling the coils. It allows the fridge to run more efficiently and gives it dependability
Fridge in. This is from outside looking in.

Camping world has a Maxxair II vent cover in smoke,( cat [HASHTAG]#37733[/HASHTAG]) that will let you leave vent open when your traveling down the road without tearing it off. Plus save it from hail ,roof my be beat up but cover will be good. LOL

We have a couple on the parts camper that I could pull off. We might install before winter because I like how much better they cool open.
Try really hard not to buy from that place they are so expensive. Plus they don’t support Trump lol

Amazon has some but they are a little high too. If you can catch a sale at camping world not to bad sometimes.
If you have one better yet.
Your doing a nice build like it a lot.

Got up early this morning and cut all the pieces for the battery box. Need to brace and screw everything tight yet. Will be enough room for the 2 8d batts, inverter, converter fuse panel exc. everything will have access from behind the cab behind the waterproof door. Will place a small vent in the floor to allow fresh air.
The battery weight placed here will offset the water storage weight on opposite side some.
Adding interior led lighting to each box as seen in the metal propane box to the right
