2018 Trail camera pics

Well, this isn’t a cam pic, but I did put him down on opening day here in WV. I was putting the cam up after hunting that day, so no picks just horns.

Putting boards with nails is not a good Idea for me. Me and my kids play there on Sunday's. And Karma always gets me. I would forget where I put them and be the guy plugging. Slowly I'm weeding them out.I have trespassed as a young lad a few times myself. I only worry they may head on crash with my kids riding.posting property and gates are starting to slow them down. And just constantly monitoring it are the best way I think.

Add to that getting to know the local game warden and things will get better with respect to trespassing and poaching. BTDT

Ok ... now some something different .... caught this guy a few times .... red fox .. caught on camera across the street from my house

I figure I keeop enough of these around, the big guy may eventually step out ... I have caught him on another camera.

Now we are getting someplace .... reviewing card because when we came home from dinner, there were at least 15 head at the feeder and one of the does would fall every time she started to run. Was checking for a hurt animal, but finding some nice shots ... more impressed with the boy in the background ...

Muzzloader is open here in Tennesse, not been many good buck pics on my property, mainly just 1 8 point and a bunch of smaller deer and a bear that comes thru about once a week. Glad to get the monkey off my back with this 6 point and hunt for the 8 the rest of the season. Used a Savage smokeless shooting 44grains of AA5744 and a 300 gr XTP.

Looks a lot like our deer up here! Especially in southern Michigan where I’m at.
It’s a big deer for sure.

Like this hog from last year. @nbomar, that’s great to see them that big where your at. My cousins in Kentucky don’t see them that big! I hope you get a chance to get that guy! Good luck!

That’s the biggest one I’ve seen. Never seen him before. Probably all nocturnal. Ours are smaller and very few. Hunted all weekend and only saw 2 on Friday. None on Saturday.
