So me and the wife went for a little ride, wanted to show her the creek trail that goes up by JC cave, Triple Arch, etc. East of Jellico TN. We took the long way around to avoid V-notch.

Got into a big washout/ roots ball and rock that up ended us at 1mph. Ended up with a @TripleB worthy photo op, except tore my elbow up instead of the RMAX.

One hour later elbow swollen so big though an alien was going to pop out.

Busted the fluid sac, got full movement and no pain (yet). Will get xrayed and treatment tomorrow morning.

If it's that trail that comes out just below v-notch, I've been on my side a couple of times on it lol. Your elbow looks awful. Hopefully it's nothing more than fluid. Hell everybody told me you only ride gravel roads lol.

Wow, glad your almost OK.
If there is a next time let me know, I could use a quick riding trip.
I wanted to show the wife the big arch and the river road at the takeover but I was not familiar with the alternate road in.

Shoot we could go in over the V-notch, I've done it before (you might need to go first, I needed a winch last time).

After my shenanigans, we rolled up to top of V-notch and just said no. Didn't see any way down without shattering my glass windshield and didn't feel like gouging the paint off the panels.
So we took road in and out from the river trail. She had already been to JC Cave and triple arch, by that time looking like a banana was growing off my right elbow / forearm.

Good to ride anytime, just mention the dates. Would like to venture down Gobey way again too.

If I'm not mistaken @JACKAL the 4 seat rmax has a rear swaybar, the 2 seater do not have one....the articulation of the 2 seater is just STUPID with the amount of rear wheel travel. I know I've felt like I was gonna put ours over on its side twice but it never happened.

Still not taking it off. It may make it ride better some of the time, but will affect handling all of the time.

My Niece & Nephew from IL came down for the weekend, they literally have never been off roading other than one trip to the 2400 acre Land between the lakes in KY once. Nephew Chad has a 2020 P1K5D and Niece's boyfriend had a KRX trail edition. Showed them the nickel tour with two 100 miles days. Pretty sure the Brushy Prison trip was more than they anticipated, they rented an Air BnB in Huntsville 1 block from Brimstone office. So we trans versed all of Brimstone on Trail 1 which turns into TWRA Trail 1 also called the 4 lane. This one trail is 39 miles end to end from Brimstone coming out at the New River Train then another 7 miles to Brushy, add in a few side quests to overlooks, waterfall's, eternal flame, and 120 miles it's a done deal ;). No carnage or drama, but this old man wore their asses out for being 20 yrs my junior :p. The hoss of a young man on the ATV that said he could keep up certainly did, but his arms were about to fall off by yesterday 7PM o_O This ride put me at 1900 miles on the RMAX, no issues at all thus far. My wife said she likes it much better after 2 back to back 100 mile days, she didn't seem beat up at all.

How is the elbow today?
One week later, swelling all down but man the bruising and sensitivity is bad. I was ready to chew it off after yesterday. Pics don't do justice but I'm purple & green from wrist to halfway up my bicep. really bruised that forearm bone and elbow.

Ran across this little article testing the articulation of various SXS using a ramp at 20 degrees angle. I could see where the additional travel and no rear sway bar on the RMAX2 1000 Sport version could make for a capable rock machine. It bested everything else on the market in this controlled experiment.
