I need to do this. I find myself straining my neck to see over the hood! My wife is short and doesn't like the view at all!
You will like the risers. I used the 2" ones and it improved both the leg room problem and seeing directly in front of the hood. Win Win. My 5'6" wife also likes the new seat position, so you know what that means. Happy wife, happy life.

Put the 1.5" risers in today. Much improved line of sight

Did you make those or are they a kit? Got a link if so....I think those would work for me too!!

They are for a Jeep:

@Lil_Steve Lissen up, Dude. I'll be trying these too.

Adam - I checked my filter at 1066 and 2561, it was spotless. Next check was last week at 6067 (photo below) with a Uni Pod filter behind the passenger seat (Hondabob's instructions linked in my sig for the curious). About water ingestion - it might get through the prefilter but it'll pool in the bottom of the airbox, very little will get up to the stock filter (I think). I agree with PaulF that the prefilter will choke the engine out long before the stock filter sees 'much' dirt and I test it frequently (letting the Uni get dirtier than I should 😊).
I LSPwSKC XL

This latest check at 6067 miles showed just a tiny bit of brown getting past the Uni. I'll probably change it out at 10k just cuz.

Sooooooooooooooo much better with the glass windshield! View is perfect now with those risers installed. Can't say enough good things about @SuperATV shipping, ordered it yesterday morning and it was delivered at 10:30 today!

Ordered these today. Been looking for something "cheap" that would work with the SATV glass windshield. Couldn't find any reviews or others that have the same so I went ahead and ordered. I think it'll work out....

Let me save you some grief, send em back!!!!
I ordered these not long ago because I liked the idea of no zippers. They want to fly open around 40 to 45 mph. There are 4 peel & stick magnets that go on the lower fender & door on each side. I had problems with these coming off. I ended up ordering different magnets that screw on, this helped with that issue but the doors still want to fly open. I used a small bungee to keep the doors from completely busting loose and flopping in the wind, but this still allows them to break free from the magnets at speed. I argued with Rocky Mountain about their design issues & they admitted fault. After it was all said & done they took care of me. I have them on my machine now and they’re good for the woods but that’s about it. If it wasn’t for the 20 holes I put in my machine during install I would have loved to walk away with a refund, but like I said they made it right & they work half a$$ with a few mods.

Been trying to figure out an easy way to attach my knockoff Amazon rotopax cans to the packout system. I made a wooden test plate and I 3D printed some packout feet and a latch. It worked great but a full gas can would slide back and forth on the plate even with a ratchet strap. Ordered a rotopax style mount that came in yesterday...

Here are the feet and the latch before I mounted them on the wooden base

PXL 20220303 025035256

Mounted to the board, and you can see problem #2... After it sat in the garage the board started to bow, which in turn made it damn near impossible to pull the plate off:

PXL 20220313 002456457

Took the gas can with me to Home Depot to see if there were any better clamps or tie downs I could try. Forgot about the Milwaukee packout crate and I'll be damned if it doesn't fit two of these perfect!

PXL 20220327 163803504
PXL 20220327 163813300

Holds one diagonally almost perfect as well. Little Paracord cam buckle holds them in there great.

Installed the driver seat yesterday evening and let my wife drive. She likes this mod! I wish they would have arrived a day earlier when I could have used them for our Hidden Falls ride. Thanks for that tip Adam.

Saw those, and if I was going to use the SATV flip I probably would have got them. I'll be selling my flip up

Going the ole plumber way?
Ive been thinking about that possibly? Looking at His, it wouldnt be hard to put my doors on. I figured it would be no different than the lower half of the flip and installing them under the roof and the rear windshield.
