This is our first SXS Ever, Brough her home couple of weeks ago, picked her up from Delamo Motorsports in SD, used with 290 miles and 29 hours.

First thing i did was to change the tires. Went with GBC Parallax 30x10x15 all around with the factory wheels

Ordered a Hess seat belt bypass last week cause the rig still has the seat-belts on and i read if i unlatch those the speed limiter will be capped at 15mph or so. It came with aftermarket seatbelts as well from Moose racing. Since i was in the Hess website i was reading about the Hess I-4x4 override kit so i ordered that one as well. I'm not very savvy when it comes to SXS's but we don't have a front locker so i though anything to help the electronic brake locking thing should be good

I have not installed these parts yet, they should be in my garage this week.

Also god help me i started reading about the 2nd filter thingers and got overwhelmed by options so i did a thing with the factory snorkel. I had bought the UNI 6300AST filter and thought about putting the thing on the inside of the airbox, but then i watched some videos and decided to simply cut the snorkel and slapped that thing in there. Ordered a BVC alum cover that should be getting home today so i'll cut the airbox and get that installed.

Don't know if this is the way but what that heck is done

Cut the upper portion of the tube but waned to reuse the factory snorkel air silencers or whatever they're called

I capped the hole you see in the pic left after cutting part of the air silencer stuff with duct tape. Glued the first strip to it and then applied several strips around it and one tie wrap at the end.

As of now just waiting to get the BVC cover before i button her up down there.

Thar works but will clog up quickly being down there. We use the Talon pre filter kit from one of our venders we like to support on the forum. Helps keep us rolling. Plus it works well, he has great customer service.

Also mounted a 3.5" Rotopax fuel jug in the back with the Axia Alloys Rotopax mount and brackets

If you own a Talon and you only buy two things for it, those should be (a) a UHMW full skid plate setup and (b) the 10-80 Dirt Sports pre-filter kit from @highpocket74 @ 10-80 Dirt Sports. Both will save your ass more times than anything else you might hang on that thing.
