Thanks, @Prntckt. As you already know, I will likely be stealing this design for my machine.

No problem. Most all of the modifications and accessories I have implemented on my Pioneer and now on my Talon were ideas I read about in this forum. The knowledge I have gained from the other member's posts has been extremely useful and valuable.

Installed a weatherproof SAE connector on my fender above the OEM battery for connecting my trickle charger

The OEM tender springs were collapsed and coil bound both on the front and rear of my rig.

Too many accessories I guess.

Purchased a set of dual rate springs from Shock Therapy for the Talon.

After unsuccessfully or unsafely trying to compress my springs with ratchet straps, and a couple varieties of spring compressors, I purchased a Strut Tech spring compressor. So much easier and safer

The packaging of the strut compressor allowed the parts to roll around inside the box during shipping, fortunately no damage.
The assembled unit makes spring changing safe and easy.
Expensive, but worthwhile.

Fits right in with the Talon accesory budget!

Thanks for the recommendation @Tramguage1 .

There is quite a difference between the OEM springs and the Shock Therapy springs

The new springs restored my ground clearance and suspension travel.
The ride has improved a lot!

I have had intermittent problems with the EPS tripping out since putting on the 30" Terrabytes and the Tusk Uinta wheels.
I watched the video by @TerryH of the SuperATV 400 watt EPS and decided to give it a shot.

The kit arrived nicely packaged

Quite a difference in motor size.

It's a tight fit, especially because I installed my winch controller, battery isolator and aux relay in that area.
Had to modify it slightly to get it to fit

Terry's installation video was a big help and saved me a lot of time and trouble. Thanks a lot Terry!

The new EPS unit made a huge difference.
Steering movement is effortless even on pavement

I tried disconnecting the sway bar links as some in this forum have suggested, and liked the improved ride at slower speeds. I decided to install the Speedway shocks that other forum members have used so I didn't need to worry as much about body roll at higher speeds. They have worked out well.

Any reason you installed them upside down? Seems like they might rub on the springs if you did, but hard to tell

What’s the length of the sway bar from bend to where the shock is attached?

For the record, on a 2 R -

If the swaybar had square corners, the short arms are 11" long. The straight ends themselves are 9" long.

Really no reason. I oriented them as the Fox Shocks were oriented. After roughly 5000 miles of use they are working fine.

Thanks! I found out that the X away bar is about 2 inches shorter than the R…. So doesn’t seem like they will work on an R

The arms are 2" shorter or shorter across the width?

Based on your measurements, the X is 9” if the sway bar had square corners and 7” respectively…

Here’s a pic of the X that @906UP took for me:
