Purchased this beauty a month ago. Upgraded from a 2016 P500. Before the questions roll in, Thomas the tank engine was taken by my P500 in the profile pic and there's an inside joke there as well. So far I have installed...
-Front and rear steel black oem bumpers
-SuperATV fold up windshield
-OEM A-arm guards and trailing arm guards
-OEM nerf bars
-Kemimoto mud guards
-UTV pro rear fender flares (install was a pain as instructions were completely useless)
-KFI assault series 5000 winch and KFI winch mount (not a great fit with black steel bumper. Had to bend winch mount)
-UTV pro rear view mirror (love it for the price, very wide view and stable enough for me)
-Seizmik strike side view mirror 2inch clamps (had ordered tusk pivot folding mirrors but are not compatible with superatv windshield as they bolt into cage, these seizmik mirrors are ok for the price just wish they were a bit more stable)(Also, amazon states the 2inch mirrors do not fit my model, thats false)
-10-80 pre filter setup
On order I have...
-Dirt Road Fab honda talon bed extender/spare mount (7 week lead time and ordered on June 6th)
-SuperATV rear poly windshield
-Honda talon shift gate CATech
My list of needed items in order of priority...(recommendations wanted!)
-Seatbelt Harnesses
-Wheels/tire setup for trail riding/a bit of rock crawling/minimal desert as I live in south texas and little sahara is far from me
-Been considering on dipping my toes into basic performance mods like this one setup seen in the link Honda Talon pwrTune Stage 3INT Power Package
I have to say, installing the parts and building the Talon is almost as much fun to me as riding the machine. I wish I could keep expanding, but funds are running out haha. Will return and post updates
